Reels search in Inspiration + desktop version in development

Search for specific topics inside the Inspiration tab to find relevant Reels ideas faster. Meta also confirmed a desktop version of Edits is in development, alongside new transition effects, multiple project versions, and a beta tab for testing experimental features early.

Spring 2026

4K export, longer exports & AI video generation

Exports now go up to 4K with no watermark. A beta "longer export duration" allows videos up to 15 minutes, and AI video generation began rolling out - plus AI Style for fonts, caption controls, and Reels insights comparisons.

Edits turns 1 - 130+ features shipped

One year after launch, Edits crossed 130 shipped features. Around the same window: bilingual captions in 15 languages, adjust video color, find & replace in caption transcripts, highlight specific words, pin key projects, and save fonts and text styles.
